Audi Centenary Sculpture by Gerry Judah


Designer Gerry Judah created a 32 metre-high sculpture for Audi at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England. The 44 tonne sculpture, created to mark the car brand’s centenary, features a vintage Audi and a modern car racing into the sky. Via Dezeen.

Sit back, Relax

Inspired by the human hand, the Relax lounge chair by a young Czech
designer, Kamil Kurka, has a base made of a continuous flexible frame
that lets you float in the air.

The frame, which has no fixed connections at the crossing, is made
of straight grain veneer layers glued together. Multiple grain
directions in each layer add to the strength and flexibility.
